Looking forward to driving dads Figaro again, same as the bug.

The Figaro is a really cool little car. I got to see one up close at Lane Motor Museum in Nashville several years ago when they had all the Pike models on loan from Japan. By far my favorite of the four.

It’s quite the popular vheicle, dad has had someone get out of their car at a major intersection to ask what it was and randoms in parking lots. They are all super surprised when they find out it’s from the 90's.

You’re in Canada, right? If so, do your parents happen to live in Elora? I had a chat with a Figaro owner there last year.

Canada is right, but they live in Ottawa

It was retro before retro was cool. Most people think the retro look started in the 2000's, but Nissan had it figured out in the 90's.

I love these things. If I ever had to commute in traffic I’d consider one...but they’re hideously over-priced here :(

That’s insane, 38k and 42k. I think pops paid around 10 for his.

It really is. Same deal for Cappucinos. It’s so weird, Australians don’t really like small cars or old Japanese cars. But somehow people jack up the prices on these.
The Toyota Sera in Australia, just as quirky, just as rare, is sold for <5k.
